Darlington Henry Jr., Board President

Darlington was appointed to the Board in 2012.

Mr. Henry is a Cumberland Regional High School graduate and was a part of the Army National Guard from 1988 – 2004.

Mr. Henry is married to Shannon Henry and has four children; William, Leroy, Leah , and Carolece. He was also actively involved in Fairfield Recreation for 8 years.

Ms. Alta Lloyd  
Alta was first elected to the Fairfield Township Board of Education in 1998. She has served eight years and was re-elected to the Board in 2009. She has served on the Finance, Personnel, Curriculum, Policy and Negotiations Committees. She has taken numerous courses in school board member policies and procedures.

Mrs. Lloyd graduated from Bridgeton High School. She also has taken classes at Cumberland County College. Mrs. Lloyd serves on the Advisory Board for the Division of Youth and Family Services. She is an active member of Trinity AME Church in Gouldtown.

Mrs. Lloyd is married to Everett Lloyd, a member of the Fairfield Township Committee and a former Mayor. They have two sons, Brian Lloyd, Sr. and Jeffrey Lloyd. Both attended Fairfield Township Primary and Middle Schools and graduated from Cumberland Regional High School.

dRev.  Dr. Michael Keene,Sr.

Michael was born in Danville, Va., and raised in Philadelphia, currently resides in Gouldtown.  He is married with four children, three boys and a girl, they also have four grandchildren. 

In addition to his many pastoral duties, at Trinity AME church in Gouldtown, he had an active Family therapy practice, in the Voorhees area, treating children and adults with various mental health and abuse issues trauma, (ADD; ADHD; ODD).  Clinical practice includes working with blended families and couples with intimacy and communication difficulties, over coming anger within relationships, depression and anxiety, premarital counseling, relationship issues and individual family therapy. Also provides a systemic approach through group therapy in Grief and Loss in addition to Anger Management Workshops. In addition has conducted workshops on saving at- risk-young men; Parental stress, and stress in teens. Additional training “Helping Vets Get Help;” Key Components of the Military Branches’ Structure and Culture with a Special Emphasis on the National Guard and Other Reservist Units and The Range and Scope of Behavioral Problems, How They are Unique for the Military, and Treatment Approaches that Work with Veterans and their Families

Michael was formerly employed by the PECO Energy Company Philadelphia. Pa., Assigned as the Project coordinator to support an elite project team that was tasked with rapid upgrade of automated accounting systems. Financial Accounting Controls (F.A.C.T.S.). As a member of this team, performed the following:

Documented and tested the Capital Billing System - reconciled the capital vs. expense mapping rules to ensure consistency of company and regulatory rules thereby reducing processing time from one week to one day; by computerizing the journal entry process and maintaining the key pre-ledger audit sheets.

Established procedures and internal controls for processing invoices and handling discounts and improving the payment cycle on major accounts payable. This resulted in an average discounts gained rate of $65,000.00 per month. Additional responsibilities included reconciling daily accounts payable activity averaging $2.5million per day.

Michael attended the Philadelphia school system and graduated from Overbrook High school; earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton school double major in Accounting and Economics. In addition he has earned his Master of Divinity from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary; Doctorate in Ministry in Marriage and Family from Palmer Theological Seminary Eastern University; Post Graduate Certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Council for Relationships and Jefferson Hospital Psychiatric Division.

Michael’s ministry is based on Matthew 25:35ff.  His favorite scripture; Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he will bring it to pass.

Ms. Catherine Muhlbaier was appointed to the Board in 2023.

Ms. Muhlbaier graduated from William Paterson University in 2008 and began her teaching career at Cumberland Regional High School as a teacher of Language Arts in 2009. She became a resident of Fairfield Township in 2012, and in 2019, she became a homeowner. 

Ms. Muhlbaier has successfully taught all different kinds of students and at every grade level, but she is currently teaching Language Arts 1 Honors (grade 9) and Language Arts 2 Honors (grade 10). She also created and teaches an elective course that explores the Harry Potter series in a service- and project-based learning format. In 2022, she was named the district's Teacher of the Year. Ms. Muhlbaier is also the President of the Cumberland Regional Education Association. Ms. Muhlbaier actively participates on the district's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee, Curriculum Council, and the Colt Citizens Advisory Team. 
In her spare time, Ms. Muhlbaier fosters kittens for South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter and Kizzy's Place, Inc. in addition to volunteering for Village Trappers, a local non-profit organization that assists caretakers by providing TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) services for their community cats. 
Ms. Muhlbaier has 4 cats: Luna, Astrid, Apollo, and Artemis. Her favorite color is orange, and she loves winter time even though her birthday is in August. She also enjoys Grey's Anatomy, reading, and naps.
