Message from the Superintendent:
As we begin our journey to welcome the 2014-2015 school year, accountability is the theme that is placed on all of us. We are looking forward to a wonderful year filled with quality educational experiences to promote student achievement. Our staff has worked over the summer months planning school activities, attending/planning workshops to use the Common Core State Standards aligned with PARCC, AchieveNJ, Charlotte Danielson Model using the 4 Domains and data driven instruction, and preparing instructional materials and arranging classrooms. Teachers will be accountable to provide the best educational program and support they can give to our students. The Administration will be accountable to provide all the necessary tools staff will need to promote student success. Parents, we will need your support to assist with making sure children are prepared to come to school ready to learn.
Fairfield Township School staff members plan to keep you well informed of all activities and events throughout the school year with phone broadcasts, Wednesday folders, a new updated website, Main Office calendar, updated marquee, monthly packets, monthly newsletters and forums. We welcome your participation in joining the PTA and other committees that will provide our students, your children, with resources, knowledge and life-long experiences to promote achievement academically, emotionally and socially. For our students to be successful in their endeavors we need to work as one family – the school and community together to nurture and teach. Let’s all work together to be accountable for student success! Please feel free to contact the school for concerns, suggestions or questions at (856) 453-1882.
